These pieces are part of a spherical paper mache series. These are the largest with a 12” or 30cm sphere. The Orange Sphere is the tallest piece I’ve done in years at 58” or 140cm. The bottom is from an alarm bell cover and the wood is from an antique scythe. The White Sphere sits atop a plastic plumbing pipe and is 25’”or 64cm high. Both spheres have 5 coats of clear gloss acrylic paint.
